Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CLF Manager to join our Community Living Facilities (CLF) team, providing essential support to residents with developmental disabilities. This role is critical in maintaining an organized, safe, and supportive environment, ensuring that all residential operations meet high standards of quality and compliance. The CLF Manager will oversee daily facility management, uphold health and safety regulations, and foster a positive and enriching living experience for residents through structured activities and personalized care.
The Role
- Manage daily operations across CLFs, ensuring facilities are clean, well-organized, and adequately maintained
- Act as the primary compliance manager, maintaining knowledge of and ensuring adherence to CLF Rule 370, CMS Settings Rule, Medication Rule 116, and HUD regulations
- Approve supply orders for CLFs and oversee the accuracy of daily data entries completed by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to maintain accurate records and fulfill compliance requirements
- Coordinate health, safety, and sanitation inspections related to infection control, appliances, and adaptive equipment, collaborating with the Support Services Manager as needed
- Conduct regular safety audits, monitor work orders, and facilitate repairs to meet HUD, CMS, and Illinois health standards
- Promote high-quality, meaningful activities for participants, supporting engagement and personal growth within a supportive environment
- Uphold participant rights, maintaining an inclusive and respectful living environment that promotes dignity, autonomy, and privacy for each resident
- Maintain annual physical records for CLF Direct Support Professionals to meet state health requirements and ensure staff capability in performing their duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field, including one year of direct service experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must complete and achieve certification in the Lambs Farm DSP program within 120 days of hire and maintain compliance with all training and certifications necessary for the role
- Must complete and achieve certification in the Medication Administration Certification program within 160 days of hire and maintain authorization thereafter
- Physically capable of performing tasks that require bending, lifting, and walking, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds to manage mobility aids and assist participants
- Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Strong computer skills, including accurate typing, navigating websites, entering and recalling data, using word processors and spreadsheet software, managing emails, and familiarity with digital communication etiquette and techniques
