About This Opportunity

As our Operations Support Specialist, you’ll provide flexible, hands-on support across retail, food service, animal care, and warehouse operations. This role focuses on maintaining efficient day-to-day operations while working alongside participants during structured work activities. You’ll help ensure programs run smoothly and professionally across multiple environments.

What you'll accomplish:

  • Support daily operations across animal care, retail, food service, and warehouse environments to ensure efficient program and business operations
  • ​​​​​Assist primary staff with feeding, cleaning, stocking, inventory, and order fulfillment during high-demand periods
  • Work alongside participants during assigned tasks, reinforcing job expectations, routines, and basic workplace skills under supervision
  • Help maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces for staff, visitors, customers, and participants
  • Assist with visitor and customer interactions, including basic education and service support as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working across changing environments and tasks
  • Prior experience in animal care, retail, food service, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills with a positive, energetic approach
  • Ability to work across multiple settings while maintaining professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physically able to bend, lift, walk, and move up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and common office software
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours based on business and special event needs
