About This Opportunity
As our Associate Director of Human Resources, you'll partner directly with executive leadership while managing the full spectrum of HR functions—from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and strategic initiatives. Based at our beautiful 72-acre Libertyville campus, you'll work in a collaborative environment where your expertise directly supports both employee growth and participant well-being.
What you'll accomplish:
- Design recruitment strategies that attract mission-aligned professionals to our growing team
- Build employee engagement programs that strengthen workplace culture and retention
- Lead workplace investigations and resolve complex employee relations matters with fairness
- Transform HR data into actionable insights that improve the employee experience
What you bring to this role:
You bring HR expertise and a genuine commitment to supporting employees who serve adults with developmental disabilities. Your approach balances strategic thinking with operational excellence, and you thrive in environments where your work has direct mission impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, OR five years progressive HR experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee relations matters
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office applications
